The Bungalow was originally built for Hilda Graveling when her son and daughter-in-law took over the running of the guest house in 1978. It is situated at the rear of The Grove and sleeps two people in one room, which can be made up as a twin or a Super-king double.
As the name suggests, The Bungalow is single storey, with a large patio door leading from the living room onto a private patio, next to which is a car parking space and a small lawn—making access easy and convenient, particularly for those with mobility difficulties.
Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, microwave, gas oven and washing machine. A hall leads to a bathroom, bedroom, and living room/dining area. The living room is complete with freeview television and DVD player and wifi is accessible throughout.
All in all, it is a peaceful and practical place to stay and is very popular with our regular visitors.
All the facilities at The Grove are available for residents of the self-catering cottages. So, if you don’t feel like cooking, you can take advantage of our restaurant which is open most days for lunch and dinner. You can also book in for breakfast (really handy on the last day of your holiday), order from our drinks menu, use the indoor, heated swimming pool and outdoor play equipment, explore the grounds and neighbouring woods that lead to the cliffs and beach, or just relax with a cup of tea in our beautiful Georgian house and gardens.
