Number 11

Number 11, located at the top of the house, was originally the housekeeper’s room. It faces west and has views over the west lawn dominated by one of our wonderful copper beech trees. In early 2020, Number 11  underwent a renovation enlarging the room, by encompassing the original corridor and converting two adjacent attic rooms into a bathroom and dressing room, which look out to the east and south of The Grove. It truly is a wonderful peaceful room. We are confident that Number 11 is the best hotel suite in Cromer.

Number 11 now takes up the majority of the top floor of the west wing of The Grove and is our flagship room, to give it a touch of luxury, we have also added a few little extras, including a smart TV, sofa and coffee machine. The dressing room, which is a former attic bedroom, is an ideal place to relax before joining us for dinner, or even to get a bit or work done. The bathroom which is was also an attic bedroom, is full of original features.

The two attic rooms have low thresholds to the doors, showing the age of the house, and Number 11 itself is located on the top floor, which is up two flights of stairs. We don’t recommend Number 11 for those with mobility issues.
