The Orchard Rooms are five ground floor bedrooms located in a quiet corner of the garden and perfect both for large groups and for those wanting a little extra space away from the main house.
A timber framed and clad structure, which was built in 2013, The Orchard Rooms won recognition with an award for craftsmanship from the Norfolk and Norwich Architects Association. They all have underfloor heating and flexible zip-link beds, which can made as twins or a Super King-sized double.
The Orchard Rooms are set around 50 meters from the main building and are accessed by a beautiful winding path. They are a haven of peace and quiet and are bordered by our small orchard and vegetable garden.
Merryweather has a mezzanine floor with futon beds for children, creating a perfect separation at bedtimes.
Gladstone, too, has a mezzanine floor with children’s futon beds, and has adjoining doors onto another Orchard Room, Honey Pippin. This gives them the capacity to sleep six people in one large room.
Honey Pippin is has adjoining doors onto Gladstone and is quietly tucked into the corner of The Orchard Rooms.
Sunburst is next door and then Victoria, which is slightly larger and has facilities for the disabled in its bathroom.
