The largest of the cottages is the former barn, sleeping six people in total and with many original features such as arrow-slit windows and exposed flint work.
Most of the ground floor is a spacious open-plan kitchen-dining-living room, with full-height windows filling the south side of the dining area where the massive barn door used to be.
The kitchen comes equipped with washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, and the living room is complete with freeview television and a DVD player.
WiFi is accessible throughout.
Just off the living room is a cosy downstairs bedroom with bunk beds. The other two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds, are upstairs along with two bathrooms, approached by a gallery landing that splits in two directions at the top of the stairs.
At the front of The Barn is a pretty courtyard shared with the neighbouring cottages, and guests are also welcome to enjoy the rest of The Grove’s grounds. Parking is available at the rear, with easy access through the back door in the kitchen. All the facilities at The Grove are available for residents of the self-catering cottages. So, if you don’t feel like cooking, you can take advantage of our restaurant which is open most days for lunch and dinner. You can also book in for breakfast (really handy on the last day of your holiday), order from our drinks menu, use the indoor swimming pool and outdoor play equipment, explore the grounds and neighbouring woods that lead to the cliffs and beach, or just relax with a cup of tea in our beautiful Georgian house and gardens.
