Golfing Breaks

Guests of The Grove are entitled to 10% off their green fee  at The Royal Cromer Golf Club. Located just a couple of minutes up the road from The Grove, the Royal Cromer stretches along the cliff between Cromer and Overstrand.

Thursford Christmas Spectacular

The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is the biggest and most exciting Christmas show of all time in Britain, running both matinee and evening performances from 9th November to 23rd December 2013.

The Grove will be open for business throughout the Christmas period, and we are more than happy to arrange transport and special timings for lunch and dinner in order to give you plenty of time to see this incredible show. Please just let us know when you book your accommodation.

Birdwatching Holidays


Norfolk is well-known for being a bird-watcher’s paradise. Its enormous variety of birds and easily accessible reserves make it probably the best county for birding in the UK. The Grove has teamed up with the Norfolk-based Bird ID Company (www.birdtour.co.uk) to offer special birdwatching breaks for individuals, couples and groups, on dates of your choosing. The package includes:

  • Two nights’ accommodation in our 4-star guest house
  • Full catering (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner from the evening of arrival until the afternoon of departure)
  • An all-day bird tour, including transport for up to 4 people and reserve fees, with an experienced guide
  • The possibility of arranging further tours with your guide (subject to the guide's availability and standard fees)
