The summer has gone and the days are getting shorter, a little colder, possibly damper and more…..snuggly. And with Norfolk’s name for being a fine-food county is snowballing, the end of September is celebrated every year in Norfolk by restaurants and eateries coming together to entice people in through their doors by offering tantalising tasty menus for those looking for a bargain. Now in its third year, North Norfolk Restaurant week(s) runs from 28th September for two weeks until 11th October; the misnomer due it becoming a victim of its own success. This is the first year that we, at The Grove, have taken part and are proud to fly the flag once again for Cromer’s growing foodie scene, alongside 37 other restaurants up and down the coast from Old Hunstanton, Titchwell, Wells, Cley and many more places along the way. Our menu is still, as ever, sourced from the highest quality local ingredients, using seafood from local fishermen and meat from local butchers and as ever, we are using as much of our own fruit and vegetables from our garden as possible, a lot of it still growing hours before it is eaten. You can’t get fresher than that.
