Number One and Five are both perfectly located for families with little ones, as they are both in range of child monitors from the restaurant and guest lounge below. So you can put the little ones to bed, and treat yourself to an evening in our restaurant safe in the knowledge that they are always in earshot.
Number One’s double bed is set opposite expansive Georgian bay windows looking out over the grounds, with the two single beds tucked cleverly away for minimal disturbance for Mum and Dad.
At the other end of the house, Number Five has plenty of room to feel at home, tastefully decorated with a stunning bathroom and original tiles surrounding the 18th century fireplace. Number five was originally added as the master bedroom by the Birbeck family in 1895.
Merryweather is one of our largest Orchard Rooms, built in 2013, these are located about 50 meters from the main house. It has zip-link beds which can be set up as a twin or a super king. It also has a mezzanine floor with futon beds for children, creating a perfect separation at bedtimes.
Gladstone, like Merryweather, is also one of our Orchard Rooms. It, too, has a mezzanine floor, and has adjoining doors onto another Orchard Room, Honey Pippin. This gives them the capacity to sleep six people in one large room.
