As a family business ourselves, here at The Grove in Cromer we aspire to make your stay away from home as straightforward and relaxing as possible.
That’s why we offer well-considered family friendly accommodation in our hotel. We can also provide many of the essentials you’ll need during your stay, including travel cots, high chairs, baby monitors and stair gates.
And of course, if you require anything extra, you can always ask our friendly team here at The Grove. We’ll always do whatever we can to help.
There is plenty to occupy young imaginations. Aside from heaps of gorgeous green space in the grounds around The Grove, there are toys in the lounge of the house and Barn and Stable holiday cottages, a trampoline, tree house and an indoor heated swimming pool. We also have a playground very nearby.
And of course, it doesn’t get much better than the North Norfolk Coast for fabulous, fun and memorable family holidays. From beaches to steam trains, adventure parks to indoor play centres, there is simply tons to do. The Grove provides an excellent, comfortable base to come back to once you’ve finished all those exciting adventures.
“In 1936, my Grandfather and grandmother moved into The Grove, with their young family. They opened the doors to the public of this former private holiday home on the North Norfolk coast.
Since then, we have been custodians of this superb grade II listed building, and have tried in every way to preserve its charm and character. The main focus has always been to make people feel welcome and relaxed. We have never tried to be too formal or stuffy, yet always professional and helpful. We have always tried to make The Grove not a house, but a home, and we are very proud to show it off to all who are interested.
Like most people when they have guests to stay, we want to make people feel as comfortable as possible. Now we are in our third generation, with the fourth growing fast, some things haven’t changed. The main emphasis is still on a welcoming relaxing atmosphere. We have a very clear goal; to offer the best hotel North Norfolk has to offer, but we won’t compromise on the atmosphere.” ~ Richard Graveling, General Manager.

“Beautiful grounds and such a lovely walk into Cromer through the woods and along the cliffs. Perfect distance where we had a bit of a walk but not too far for grumbling kids!…”
